High-Frequency Electrosurgical Unit HFE-300 "Nadiya-4"
The device is designed for cutting and coagulation of soft tissues and vessels using high-frequency current without anesthetics during surgical procedures in hospitals and clinics.
The unit is intended for use in specially equipped rooms at ambient temperatures from 10°C to 35°C and relative humidity up to 80% at 25°C.
Operating Principle
The device serves as a source of high-frequency current. HF voltage is applied to the active and passive (monopolar) electrodes or to the bipolar forceps (electrode) and is delivered to the patient’s tissue. The electrosurgical effect of cutting and coagulation is based on generating sufficient thermal energy in the tissue via a narrow HF current stream at the contact point of the active electrode or between the tips of the bipolar forceps. In monopolar mode (CUT-1, CUT-2, COAG-M), the active electrode is significantly smaller than the passive one, resulting in higher current density and localized heating near the active electrode. At sufficient power, tissue fluid turns into steam, causing cellular rupture — this is the cutting effect. In bipolar mode (COAG-B), both electrodes are active, of equal size, and placed close together. HF voltage applied between them heats the tissue. At a certain temperature, tissue proteins coagulate, achieving hemostasis.
Technical Specifications and Additional Features
The device provides the following modes: standby, cutting, and coagulation, with specific operation modes for:
Cutting:
- CUT-1 mode – monopolar, continuous HF oscillation after generator activation;
- CUT-2 mode – monopolar, amplitude-pulse modulation of HF oscillation after generator activation.
Coagulation:
- COAG-M mode – monopolar, continuous HF oscillation after generator activation;
- COAG-B mode – bipolar, continuous HF oscillation after generator activation.
Output power is adjustable in all modes — from minimum to maximum.
The device provides:
- Idle and short-circuit modes at any output power level;
- Light indicators:
- Power supply indicator – green;
- Selected operation modes: CUT – yellow on a yellow field; COAG – yellow on a blue field;
- Output power level – red indicator on yellow or blue fields depending on mode;
- Passive electrode cable disconnection – red "Err PE" warning on power level indicators.
- Audible alerts:
- Continuous sound during CUT mode power output; intermittent tone during COAG mode;
- Double intermittent tone if the passive electrode cable is disconnected.
- The unit operates at maximum output power for 8 hours under optimal load in intermittent duty cycle: 10 seconds of HF current output, followed by a 30-second pause;
- Maximum continuous connection to power grid – no more than 8 hours.
The device is protected against defibrillator discharge.

The footswitch is a floor-standing construction with two movable platforms: the left one (2) activates the CUT mode, and the right one (3) activates the COAGULATION mode.
The platforms are spring-loaded and move vertically: downward (to activate the mode) when pressed with the foot, and upward (to deactivate the mode) when released. The footswitch connects to the electronic unit via a cable.
High-Frequency Electrosurgical Unit HFE-300 “Nadiya-4”: Precision and Safety Guaranteed
This device is widely used in veterinary surgery. The compact unit is suitable for a variety of procedures, including cutting and coagulation. You can order the HFE-300 electrosurgical unit “Nadiya-4” online from our website, complete with manufacturer warranty and certified performance.

How the HFE-300 “Nadiya-4” Electrosurgical Unit from Our Online Catalog Works
This high-frequency device is commonly used in veterinary surgical clinics. It’s ideal for open surgeries, laparoscopic procedures, and other surgical applications. You can order the HFE-300 “Nadiya-4” electrosurgical unit for veterinary purposes directly from our store — at competitive prices.
How does thermal impact occur during surgery?
When the active electrode contacts the patient’s body, high-frequency current heats up the cells. This causes intracellular fluids to boil and evaporate instantly, while proteins coagulate and vessel walls fuse. This results in effective hemostasis — bleeding is stopped even when vessels are incised.
In professional veterinary practice, purchasing an HFE-300 “Nadiya-4” electrosurgical unit in Ukraine is considered one of the best options for safe surgical operations. Its generator produces high-frequency current — relevant for over 80% of veterinary procedures today. The unit can be used for:
- Coagulation – gentle sealing of soft tissues and blood vessels. The surface is heated to 60–100°C, causing both intracellular and extracellular fluids to evaporate. The cell structure remains intact, which is essential for preserving hemostasis.
- Tissue cutting with high precision and minimal trauma or bleeding. Muscular and adipose tissues can be incised using voltage starting from 200V and power over 8W, utilizing electric arc technology. Electrodes can be shaped as loops, needles, or spatulas.
- Electroligature – restoring vessel integrity via thermal sealing. You can order the HFE-300 “Nadiya-4” electrosurgical unit online to safely seal small vessels. For optimal precision, forceps-shaped electrodes are recommended.
- Devitalization – removal of pathological tissues and organs through point-specific destruction. Affected tissues gradually degrade and are resorbed via metabolic processes after exposure to high-frequency electricity.

What factors influence the thermal effect of HFE units?
You can order HFE-300 “Nadiya-4” high-frequency electrosurgical units online from our store for use in multiple operating modes, including monopolar and bipolar. Coagulation can be soft, argon-enhanced, performed with simultaneous hemostasis, fulguration, bipolar dissection, or sealing.
Electrodes may come in the form of scalpels, balls, loops, or needles. Note that monopolar mode uses a single-point contact instrument, while bipolar coagulation requires electrodes with two contact points.
We recommend purchasing your HFE-300 “Nadiya-4” electrosurgical unit at an affordable price from our online store. We offer competitive prices across Ukraine, along with frequent discounts, promotions, and sales events.
