High-Frequency Electrosurgical Unit HFE-300LC "Nadiya-4"
The device is designed for coagulation (sealing) and cutting (resection) of soft tissues and blood vessels using high-frequency current (hereinafter HF current) during surgical procedures in hospitals and clinics with the use of monopolar or bipolar electrosurgical instruments.
It is intended for use in specially equipped rooms at ambient temperatures from 10°C to 35°C and relative humidity up to 80% at 25°C ambient temperature.
Principle of Operation
The unit is a source of high-frequency current to which monopolar (active and passive electrodes) and bipolar electrosurgical instruments are connected. The HF voltage is delivered to the monopolar or bipolar tools depending on the selected mode of operation.
The electrosurgical cutting and coagulation effect is based on the heating of biological tissues by a narrow stream of HF current at the point of contact with the active monopolar instrument or between the tips of the bipolar instrument.
When using a monopolar instrument, the active electrode is significantly smaller than the passive one, creating higher current density around the active electrode and thus more intense heating. At sufficient power, the fluid in the tissue vaporizes, causing cellular rupture and tissue cutting.
When using a bipolar instrument, both electrodes are active and are of the same size, located close together. HF voltage passes between them, generating current that heats the tissue. When the tissue reaches a certain temperature, protein coagulation occurs.
Technical Specifications and Features
The unit supports two primary operating modes: cutting and coagulation.
The unit provides:
- open circuit and short circuit operation at all output power levels;
- visual indication of power supply activation, modes and settings, and output power level changes;
- automatic system error detection with display warning: "Warning! Critical error occurred. Please restart the system!";
- HF output current lock and visual warning in case of passive electrode disconnection: "Warning! Passive electrode disconnected. Please check the connection!";
- audio signals indicating output power adjustment and mode switching;
- ability to adjust output power while HF current is active;
- lockout function preventing accidental mode switching during current delivery;
- storage of up to 10 user-defined operation profiles;
- continuous operation with maximum output power in cyclic mode for 8 hours: 10 s activation / 30 s pause.
The unit is protected against defibrillator discharges.

The footswitch is a floor-mounted device with two spring-loaded pedals: the left pedal (2) for CUT mode, and the right pedal (3) for COAG mode. Pressing the pedal activates the mode; releasing it deactivates it. The unit connects to the electronic block via a cable.
HFE-300LC High-Frequency Electrosurgical Unit "Nadiya-4": Applications and Advantages
This device serves as a surgical instrument for cutting and sealing soft tissues of veterinary patients using high-frequency electric current. The current has optimal power and characteristics for these procedures. Among the most in-demand models today is the HFE-300LC high-frequency electrosurgical unit "Nadiya-4". You can purchase it in Ukraine directly through our online store. We offer this product with guaranteed authenticity, as our company is an official distributor. Thanks to this, we also provide advanced surgical instruments at competitive prices.

What Is the HFE-300LC Electrosurgical Unit and How Is It Used?
Essentially, this device functions as an electroscalpel operating at high frequencies. It generates HF current with the appropriate voltage and power for soft tissue surgery.
Applications
The unit is highly versatile and can be used for a wide range of veterinary surgical procedures in both monopolar and bipolar modes. For example, it enables:
- Tissue cutting (electrotomy) – The electrode heats the target area, causing intracellular fluid to boil and rupture the cells. This creates a clean incision and simultaneous coagulation, minimizing blood loss and promoting faster recovery.
- Coagulation (sealing) of soft tissues and blood vessels – The HF current seals damaged or cut vessels, preventing bleeding during surgery and in the postoperative period. This is especially useful for delicate and complex procedures.

Key Advantages of HFE Technology
The HFE-300LC unit offers simultaneous cutting and coagulation, a capability beyond traditional surgical instruments. Other benefits include:
- Reduced blood loss – Minimizes bleeding, keeping the surgical field clean and improving patient recovery times.
- Enhanced surgical precision – Compatible with a wide range of tips and accessories, enabling minimally invasive procedures with less trauma.
- Versatility – Ideal for various veterinary surgeries, including cardiac, abdominal, pelvic, and microsurgical operations.
- Smart operation modes – Continuous current for cutting and pulsed delivery for coagulation, optimized for procedural requirements.
