HFE-300 “Nadiya-4” High-Frequency Electrosurgical Unit — Model 300RK
HFE-300 “Nadiya-4” (Model 300RK) is a high-frequency electrosurgical unit for cutting and coagulation of soft tissues and blood vessels using monopolar and bipolar electrosurgical instruments.
The model is equipped with a touchscreen monitor, supports monopolar modes M1 and M2, bipolar modes BI1 and BI2, and can store up to 10 operating profiles. For each profile, the operator can select cutting and coagulation modes, set the required power level, and enter a name using the on-screen keyboard.
Maximum output power depends on the selected mode and reaches up to 300 W for cutting, up to 250 W for M1 monopolar coagulation and up to 120 W in the other coagulation modes. The main output high-frequency signal frequency is 440 ± 10 kHz.
Key features of Model 300RK: touchscreen control, 10 programmable profiles, monopolar and bipolar cutting and coagulation modes, cutting power up to 300 W, power adjustment during HF activation, patient return electrode circuit monitoring, automatic output lockout in an alarm condition, and protection against defibrillator discharge.
Benefits of the HFE-300 “Nadiya-4” Model 300RK
Touchscreen monitor
The display shows the cutting and coagulation modes, set power levels, profile number and name, and system messages.
10 operating profiles
The unit can store up to ten combinations of modes and power levels, with a custom name assigned to each profile.
Cutting power up to 300 W
Maximum power of 300 W is available in monopolar M1 mode and bipolar BI1 and BI2 modes at the corresponding optimum load.
Monopolar coagulation up to 250 W
In M1 mode, monopolar coagulation provides 10–250 W output with 5 kHz modulation of the HF signal.
Monopolar and bipolar modes
M1, M2, BI1 and BI2 modes provide separate cutting and coagulation parameters for different types of electrosurgical instruments.
Adjustment during operation
The output power level can be changed while HF current is being delivered to the working instrument, with the value monitored on the display.
Patient return electrode monitoring
If the patient return electrode circuit is interrupted, the unit stops HF output and displays a warning instructing the operator to check the connection.
Mode-switching lockout
While HF current is active, the unit prevents mode switching, reducing the risk of accidental changes to the operating parameters.
Dual-pedal footswitch
The left pedal activates cutting and the right pedal activates coagulation. The footswitch enclosure is rated IPX7.
Defibrillator protection
The applied-part design provides protection against the effects of defibrillator discharge.
Touchscreen and Programmable Profiles
The touchscreen interface combines cutting and coagulation mode selection, output power adjustment, and profile selection. After the unit is switched on, the display shows the start-up process; once the automatic self-test is complete, the main operating screen appears.

For each of the ten profiles, the unit stores the selected modes and output power levels. A profile name can be entered using the on-screen keyboard, allowing frequently used settings to be prepared in advance and recalled quickly.
HFE-300 Model 300RK Operating Modes
The unit provides two types of operation: РІЗАННЯ (CUTTING) and КОАГУЛЯЦІЯ (COAGULATION). M1 and M2 modes are provided for monopolar applications, while BI1 and BI2 modes are provided for bipolar applications.

- audible feedback when changing modes and output power levels;
- ability to change the power level while HF current is being delivered;
- mode-switching lockout while HF output is active;
- automatic output power lockout if parameters deviate beyond critical limits;
- HF output lockout if the patient return electrode circuit is interrupted, with a warning displayed on the monitor.
Principle of Electrosurgical Action
The HFE-300 Model 300RK is a source of high-frequency current to which monopolar or bipolar electrosurgical instruments are connected. The electrosurgical effect is based on local heating of biological tissue by HF current.
Monopolar application
An active electrode and a patient return electrode are used. Because the active electrode has a smaller working surface, a higher current density is produced at the contact area. Depending on the selected mode and power level, the tissue is cut or coagulated.
Bipolar application
Both working parts of the bipolar instrument are active. HF current passes between them through the grasped tissue, heating it locally and producing the required electrosurgical effect.
