HFE-300 “Nadiya-4” (Model 300RK/4.2) is a high-frequency electrosurgical unit for cutting, resection, coagulation, vaporisation and bipolar sealing of soft tissues and blood vessels. The model is designed for use with monopolar and bipolar electrosurgical instruments in specially equipped operating rooms.
The unit is equipped with a touchscreen monitor, supports 10 programmable profiles, and provides output power up to 300 W depending on the selected mode. The main high-frequency signal frequency is 440 ± 10 kHz.
The model provides monopolar cutting and coagulation modes, bipolar cutting, resection, vaporisation and sealing. The power level can be adjusted while HF current is active, and mode settings are stored in profiles for quick reuse.
Key features of Model 300RK/4.2: power up to 300 W, touchscreen control, 10 operating profiles, monopolar and bipolar modes, stepwise power adjustment, patient return electrode monitoring, automatic HF output lockout in alarm conditions, password access, and protection against defibrillator discharge.

Benefits of the HFE-300 Model 300RK/4.2
Power up to 300 W
Maximum power of 300 W is available in selected monopolar and bipolar cutting, resection, vaporisation and sealing modes.
Touchscreen Control
The monitor displays the cutting and coagulation modes, set power levels, profile number, and system messages.
10 programmable profiles
The unit stores the selected modes and power levels, and each profile can be assigned a custom name.
Monopolar and Bipolar Operation
Modes are provided for standard electrodes, resectoscopes, laparoscopic instruments, and arthroscopic instruments.
Patient return electrode monitoring
If the patient return electrode circuit is interrupted, the unit stops HF output and displays a warning on the monitor.
Access Settings
The system menu provides language selection, password configuration, and setting of the automatic output shut-off time.
HFE-300 Model 300RK/4.2 Operating Modes
The unit provides two main types of operation: РІЗАННЯ (CUTTING) and КОАГУЛЯЦІЯ (COAGULATION). The parameters of each mode depend on the type of connected instrument and the optimum load.

Design and Operating Principle
The unit consists of an electronic unit and a separate dual-pedal footswitch. The front panel contains a touchscreen monitor, connectors for monopolar, bipolar and patient return electrodes, and a mains power switch.
The left yellow pedal activates cutting mode, while the right blue pedal activates coagulation mode. In monopolar modes, HF output can also be controlled using buttons on a compatible electrode holder.
The electrosurgical effect is based on local heating of tissue by high-frequency current. In monopolar mode, current flows between the active and patient return electrodes; in bipolar mode, it flows between the working parts of the bipolar instrument.
Operating Conditions and Safety
- ambient air temperature: +10 to +35 °C;
- relative humidity: up to 80% at +25 °C;
- the unit must only be operated by trained personnel after they have read the operating manual;
- the power must be set to the minimum level sufficient to produce the required electrosurgical effect;
- during monopolar operation, full and reliable contact between the patient return electrode and the patient’s body must be ensured;
- electrode cables must not touch the patient or other connecting cables;
- if implanted stimulators, sensors or foreign metal objects are present, the restrictions in the operating manual must be considered; in cases of extreme necessity, only bipolar coagulation is provided for;
- the unit must only be repaired by the manufacturer’s authorised service centres.
Do not use the unit in the presence of flammable mixtures of anaesthetic with air or oxygen, nitrous oxide, or flammable disinfectant liquids in the procedure area.
