HFE-200 “Nadiya-4” (Model 200RK/DFS) is a high-frequency electrosurgical unit for cutting, coagulation and sealing of soft tissues and blood vessels using monopolar and bipolar electrosurgical instruments.
The model is equipped with a touchscreen monitor and supports operating frequencies of 440 and 1760 kHz. The unit combines monopolar pure and blended cutting, RH radio-wave modes, bipolar cutting, deep, contact and superficial coagulation, fulguration, and a sealing mode.
Maximum output power reaches up to 200 W for monopolar and bipolar cutting, as well as bipolar sealing. Programmable profiles are provided for storing frequently used settings, and access to the controls can be restricted with a password.
Key features of Model 200RK/DFS: touchscreen control, 440 and 1760 kHz frequencies, monopolar and bipolar modes, power up to 200 W, operating-setting profiles, timed automatic output shut-off, password access, patient return electrode circuit monitoring, and protection against defibrillator discharge.
Benefits of the HFE-200 Model 200RK/DFS
Touchscreen monitor
The display shows the selected cutting and coagulation modes, power levels, profile number, and system messages.
440 and 1760 kHz Frequencies
The unit supports standard 440 kHz high-frequency modes and RH modes operating at 1760 kHz.
Power up to 200 W
Power up to 200 W is available for monopolar cutting, RH cutting, bipolar cutting, and sealing.
Wide Range of Modes
The unit provides pure and blended cutting, deep, contact and superficial coagulation, fulguration, and bipolar sealing.
Programmable Profiles
Frequently used combinations of modes and power levels can be stored in the unit’s memory and recalled quickly before use.
Password Access
The settings allow user access to the unit’s controls to be restricted with a numeric password.
Automatic Output Shut-Off
A time limit can be set separately for cutting and coagulation, after which output power stops automatically.
Adjustment during operation
The power level can be adjusted while HF current is active, with the selected value shown on the touchscreen.
Patient return electrode monitoring
If the circuit is interrupted, the unit blocks HF output and displays a warning instructing the operator to check the connection.
Defibrillator protection
The applied-part design provides protection against the effects of defibrillator discharge.
Touchscreen Control and Operating Profiles
The touchscreen interface combines cutting and coagulation mode selection, power adjustment, profile switching, and access to system settings. After power-up, the unit performs an automatic self-test and then opens the main operating screen.

Each profile stores the selected modes and output power levels. A profile name can be entered using the on-screen keyboard. The settings also provide language selection, password configuration, and timed automatic output shut-off.

Principle of Electrosurgical Action
The HFE-200 Model 200RK/DFS is a source of high-frequency current to which monopolar or bipolar electrosurgical instruments are connected. The electrosurgical effect is based on local heating of biological tissue by HF current.
Monopolar application
An active electrode and a patient return electrode are used. Because the active electrode has a smaller working surface, a higher current density is produced at the contact area. Depending on the selected mode and power level, the tissue is cut or coagulated.
Bipolar application
Both working parts of the bipolar instrument are active. HF current passes between them through the grasped tissue, heating it locally and producing the required electrosurgical effect.

- electrode cables must not touch the patient or other connecting cables;
- active electrodes that are temporarily not in use must be isolated from the patient;
- when performing haemostasis through a surgical instrument, press the footswitch only after the active electrode has made contact with the instrument;
- do not keep the footswitch pressed after HF application has ended;
- if implanted stimulators, sensors, or foreign metal objects are present, the restrictions in the operating manual must be observed; in cases of extreme necessity, only bipolar coagulation is provided for;
- surgical gloves must be worn when using the bipolar forceps;
- the unit must only be repaired by the manufacturer’s authorised service centres.
Do not use the unit in the presence of flammable mixtures of anaesthetic with air or oxygen, nitrous oxide, or flammable disinfectant liquids in the procedure area.
